Arizona Corporation Commission Hearings and Open Meetings
The purpose of this page is to give the solar industry and ratepayers a
page that contains information on the Arizona Corporation Commission's
Open Meetings, Hearing, Rate Cases and REST Implementation Plans that
influence the policy making decisions that regulate Arizona's solar industry.
These meetings are held by the Arizona Corporation Commission staff that determine
what cases and special meetings will be heard by the Arizona Corporation Commissioners
during the next week.
By law, staff meetings are open public meetings and the general public can sit in and listen to the proceedings and
decisions being made for the Commissions next work week, but there is no interaction with staff.

ratepayers and solar installation companies can fill out a slip and make public comments
regarding whatever subject matter is being heard or discussed.
The Open Meeting Agenda's below will list all the cases that will be held during the
Arizona Corporation Commission's open meetings. If you see a case that affects you as
a ratepayer or as a solar installation company, you can fill out a public comment slip
and hand it to the to the court clerk, who will put it in front of the Chairman.

After the public comments, the Chairman hears testimonies from the utility companies
and interveneres that serve as legal counsel for various groups that want to cross examine
or introduce testimony to be considered by the Commissioners.
Special Open Meetings occur every so often to discuss special topics of
intereest to the Commissioners such as recent workshops on energy efficiency
and solar feed-in tariffs. They are usually informal proceedings intended to
gather feedback from the industry on what points of interest should be considered
when making public policy decisions.
